What led you to a career in technology?

I’m drawn to innovation and enjoy problem solving. I’m learning new skills all the time. Technology keeps me motivated and on my toes.

Technology impacts everything - including my family and my life. It’s applicable to any other field. I personally have been part of finance, digital content, family safety, and healthy living companies and technology played a role in all of them.

What attracted you to Better Therapeutics?

I am curious about how software can be used to treat disease and improve health. I want a meaningful career in a field/area I am passionate about. I was excited by the company culture, passion and vision of the team members I met during the interview process.

What do you find most exciting about the type of work you do?

Quality assurance requires interfacing with all stakeholders and aspects of the product life cycle - design, engineering, product, customers. There are always new challenges, and I get the opportunity to learn from diverse perspectives and subject matter experts on a daily basis.

Where do you find inspiration and purpose?

My family - without the support and unconditional love of my husband, kids and my parents, I wouldn’t have become the person that I am today.

I’m also inspired by healthy living. When my kids were born, the only thing that I could think of was how I could give them a happy life and raise them to be healthy. I started following a lot of documentaries on food production to gain more understanding.

And, lastly, talented and fun-loving colleagues. I really value all the motivating, inspirational, and fun interactions with my colleagues. I have learnt a lot from my coworkers and they have played a big part in the success I have achieved in my professional career.

Tell us one fun fact about yourself.

I’ll share two:

  • I binged watched Game of Thrones before the final season and that inspired me to visit locations in Croatia. I love traveling and experiencing different cultures;

  • Growing up, I trained in Bharatanaatyam, which is Indian Classical Dance.
